DUBUQUE, Iowa - Step into a time machine and experience a remarkable and propelling recreation of the Fab Four in concert during the fabulous 1960s! BritBeat: A Multimedia Concert Journey Through Beatles Music History will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center, on the University of Dubuque campus.
From its inception as a high school vision by Chris Getsla at Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois, to an internationally renowned touring show, BritBeat has mesmerized audiences worldwide with its authentic tribute to the Beatles for over 23 years. Having performed thousands of shows across the globe, BritBeat has also shared the stage with a veritable who's who of sixties rock history, captivating audiences with their immersive performances and dedication to preserving the Beatles' legacy.
With magnificent attention to detail, six dazzling costume changes, exquisite musicianship, powerful vocals, and a spectacular, stunning, and immersive multimedia backdrop, audiences will experience an engaging and electrifying trip through the iconic music catalog of the band of the century, the Beatles.
Each stage of the Beatles' history is brought to life in BritBeat's performances, including their early days at The Cavern Club in Liverpool through to the Abbey Road Studios recording sessions. Tickets for BritBeat are $25 to $45 plus fees.
