University of Dubuque transcript requests can only be completed online. We do not accept requests via phone, email, in person or fax. The University of Dubuque uses Parchment, Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of the University. Official transcripts can only be issued if all financial obligations are met. It is the student's responsibility to contact the appropriate office to resolve any issues prior to submitting a transcript request.

The Department of Education has introduced new terms regarding the release of unofficial and official transcripts and any holds that may be in place on a student's account connected to financial obligations. It is the student's responsibility to contact the Office of Student Accounts to resolve any issues prior to submitting a transcript request.

Processing Time

Transcript requests are completed within 3-5 business days. Please allow additional processing time for high volume periods. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been completed. You can also check the status of your request by logging into the transcript request site and clicking Order Status at the top of the page.

Transcripts are not available over-the-counter the same day a request is made unless you paid for a RUSH* transcript. 

*RUSH transcript
Order an official transcript (electronic or pickup) for same day processing. Orders are processed the same day if received between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. CST Monday - Thursday and 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST on Friday, as long as there is not a hold on your account. If you have any questions about your account status, feel free to call Becky at 877.391.6442 before placing your order. Rush transcripts are $20.00.

Transcripts will only be held in the Registrar's Office for 30 days after they are ready for pickup. If your transcript has not been picked up within 30 days, it will be destroyed and another request will have to be completed.

Transcript Delivery Options

There are three ways to receive your official transcript:

Electronic Transcript or eTranscript

Students and alumni can order an official transcript as a secure electronic PDF that can be emailed to any email address. Due to shorter mailing times, electronic transcripts are the quickest method for receiving your transcript. (Price: $8.00) 

Paper Transcript

Paper transcripts can be mailed via USPS to any mailing address.  If you need a paper copy of your transcript sent via expedited delivery, you can select this option from the Mailing Method drop-down menu on the transcript ordering page. Please be aware that shipping and handling fees will be applied to your order for shipping. (Price range: $10 {standard USPS} up to $55 {for expedited delivery})

In-Office Pickup Paper Transcript

Paper transcripts can be ordered for pickup at the Office of the University Registrar in the Charles & Romona Myers (MTAC) Building, Room 325 with a valid picture ID. (Price: $10)

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready for pickup. Transcripts are not available over-the-counter the same day a request is made.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are only available to currently enrolled students. These are available on MyUD under the Students tab, selecting "Grades" on the left and clicking "Unofficial Transcript"
