Winter 2021 Commencement - LIFE Program and Graduate Studies

The University of Dubuque is committed to celebrating the academic accomplishments of its undergraduate and graduate students. Two in-person commencement ceremonies will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center. Graduates have been assigned a specific ceremony time:

11:00 a.m. - Undergraduate Studies

3:00 p.m. - LIFE Program and Graduate Studies

LIFE Program and Graduate Studies - 3:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. - Graduates begin to assemble in Room 304, Heritage Center

• Graduates should arrive in full Commencement apparel.
• cap, gown, academic hood for masters students, and tassel on the right side
• Personal items cannot be secured here; graduates should leave items with guests.

2:00 p.m. - Doors open to John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center

• Seating is non-ticketed.
• Face coverings are highly recommended.

3:00 p.m. - Commencement begins
