The University of Dubuque will host the second day of the Iowa Prairie Conference, "Prairie in the Land of Trees and Karst," on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

The Iowa Prairie Network's three-day conference on current research, management, and natural history of prairie in Northern and Eastern Iowa will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, through Sunday, August 9, 2026. Activities include a volunteer workday at Sunnycrest Manor Remnant Prairie on Friday, a day of presentations at UD on Saturday, and regional field trips - including one to UD's Wolter Woods and Prairies - on Sunday.
