"Stewards of Our Story: A Legacy of Leadership at the University of Dubuque"

Since 1852, the University of Dubuque has been guided by leaders devoted to both preserving its rich history and boldly shaping its future. This display honors the previous 11 presidents who have faithfully served before Travis L. Frampton, PhD, as the stewards of the UD's story, each leaving their mark on the life of this campus, its people, and the generations of students who called it home. Through these portraits and the accompanying images of our evolving campus, we are reminded of the rich tradition and enduring Mission that continue to shape who we are today.

Now, as the 12th president, Frampton is eager to carry forward this remarkable legacy.

"It is a privilege to stand on the foundation built by those who came before, and to help write the next chapter in the story of the University of Dubuque - one rooted in vision, care, and unwavering commitment to preparing students to live lives of purpose and service," Frampton said. "This display invites us to reflect on where we've been, celebrate where we are, and embrace the momentum that is carrying our university courageously into the future."
