Welcome to the University of Dubuque family! We are excited to have you join us. Spartan Start for Transfer Students is designed to help you successfully continue your college journey at the University of Dubuque through campus-specific training and support. We highly recommend attending all Spartan Start programming to ensure your success here at UD and to make connections with other new transfer students. Please review the information on this page, and then register here.
Transfer students who have attended another college or university for at least one semester and have earned at least 24 college credits can choose to attend the full two-day program or can opt for a one-day program on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

During this time, you will also have a lunch break where you can go off-campus to eat or choose to purchase lunch from the campus dining hall with either your meal plan or cash/card. |
