Spartan Start for Parents, Family, and Stakeholders
Sending a student to college can be a big transition for the whole family. We want to assist you the best we can so that you can be ready to support your student. Optional programming will be available to parents and families of incoming students on Sunday, August 20, 2023. The agenda for the optional program sessions are listed below. | 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. | Campus Tour If you haven't yet had a chance to see and learn about the UD campus, now is the time! Join a guide from the Office of Admission for a tour. |

| 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. | Out and About in Dubuque Get to know the community of Dubuque a bit better with a trolley tour of some popular spots around town. |

| 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. | Lunch Break Grab a quick bite to eat between sessions. Meals can be purchased at the Cyber Cafe in Heritage Center or at the Barbara and Jack Smeltzer Dining Hall in Peters Commons. Families are also welcome to purchase meals off campus. |
