The Office of Vocation, Career Services, and Community Engagement is here to assist you with your advisees and students enrolled in your courses. Our partnership can combine our strengths and resources to achieve the highest benefit for UD students.

Faculty/Staff members may refer students to the Office of Vocation, Career Services, and Community Engagement for the following needs: career and vocation counseling, career assessments, career exploration, resume/cover letter assistance, internship planning and review, job search strategies, graduate school assistance, community service opportunities, and interview preparation. Students should request an appointment with a member of our professional staff by activating their account in Handshake using their UD email address.

We welcome invitations to present to your class, student organization, or athletic team on topics such as resume writing, interview tips, Handshake-How-To, or a subject of your choice! We can also help connect you with community professionals interested in classroom engagement opportunities.

Have you heard about our Mock Interview Program? A chance for your students to develop their interview skills and receive a critique of their resume and cover letter. This program also serves as a networking opportunity for students within their career field of interest.

Contact us at career@dbq.edu to discuss your ideas and let's make it happen.
