You can pick out one full outfit each academic year and the clothing is yours to keep - no need to return it. We do our best to stock a variety of sizes and styles to suit everyone. New items are stocked regularly so stop in today to see what's available! Need help deciding? Our staff can provide assistance.

Location

The UD Success Shop is located inside the Office of Vocation, Career Services & Community Engagement - Lower Level, Peters Commons.

Hours

During the academic year, the UD Success Shop is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Holiday, break, and summer hours may differ.

Do I have to pay for clothing at the UD Success Shop?

No. All items at the Success Shop are available free of charge.

Do I have to sign in when I visit?

When you visit, the staff will ask you to sign in with your name and a brief description of the items you select - this is optional if you are not comfortable signing in. We will never share your personal information. This information is used to help us keep track of the number of visits and visitors we have.

Can I try on clothes to see what fits and looks best?

Yes! We have a fitting room for you to try on your selections.

What constitutes one outfit? If I don't take a full outfit on my first visit, can I come back in that same academic year?

One full outfit includes a shirt, jacket, pants, shoes, and accessories. Yes, you are welcome to make multiple visits to the Success Shop during the year to select different pieces of an outfit.

Donate

The UD Success Shop is happy to accept donations of new and gently used professional clothing that is clean and free of stains, holes, and odor. Donations may be dropped off during scheduled open hours.

If you have a large donation or are interested in coordinating a clothing drive event and would like to donate your items, please contact us at Career@dbq.edu.

Generally, the most needed items are:

  • Shoes
  • Belts
  • Suits and/or suit jackets/sport coats
  • Button-up shirts
  • Women's blouses
  • Ties
  • Men's flat-front slacks

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept:

  • Dirty items or items that have an odor
  • Items with stains, holes, or tears
  • Items with missing buttons or broken zippers
  • Casual clothing (such as jeans, polo shirts, etc.)
  • Athletic clothing (such as shorts, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Items which do not have sizes clearly labeled

Donated items that we are not able to accept will be passed along to a local charity.
