An internship is a professional learning experience where you apply your classroom learning to a real-world employment setting. An internship offers meaningful, practical work related to your field of study or career interest. The position can be paid or unpaid and offers employers the opportunity to bring new ideas and energy into the workplace, develop new talent and potentially build a pipeline for future full-time employees.
If you would like to earn academic credit for your internship, please contact your academic advisor.
The Office of Vocation, Career Services, and Community Engagement will provide assistance to students seeking and applying for internships and can help with reviewing your resume and cover letter if this is required.
