Aviation Scholarships:

RAA Scholarship Foundation - Aviation

The Board of Directors of the Regional Airline Association, the industry trade association representing North American regional airlines, on May 7 ratified the establishment of the RAA Scholarship Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to support RAA's scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in aviation.

RAA awards $16,000-$20,000 in scholarships annually to students in collegiate aviation programs. In 2018, RAA awarded four, $4,000 scholarships.

Flight Students: Mid-Continent Instruments & Avionics

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics offers the annual "Pat Napolitano Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Technicians" to graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing their professional aviation technical education. IHERF Healthcare Career Scholarship

The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation, a subsidiary of the Iowa Hospital Association, will award 60 postsecondary health care scholarships of up to $3,000 per year (two years maximum) and up to $1,000 to students enrolling in emergency medical technology/technician certification programs.

The IHERF Health Care Careers Scholarships focus on students pursuing high-demand health care positions. In exchange, postsecondary scholarship recipients must work one year in an Iowa hospital for each year of their scholarship awards. The $1,000 award recipients must work for one year with a hospital-based or hospital-contracted emergency medical service in Iowa.

Applicants must be enrolled in a college degree program and within three years of completing their education.

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and QGenda are pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program to support the preparation of new nurses and those seeking to advance their education. Open to nursing students pursuing baccalaureate and higher degrees at AACN member institutions, this program will award nearly $50,000 in scholarships through 2025, which will be administered by AACN's Foundation for Academic Nursing.

TonaLaw Veteran's Scholarship.

Both scholarships are awarded in the Spring and Fall semesters in the amount of $1,000.

Applications for the Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd Scholarship for Veterans and Their Families are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by December 31st for the following Spring Semester.

Applications for the TonaLaw Veteran's Scholarship are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by November 30th for the following Spring Semester.

Hill & Ponton Veterans Scholarship

Joining the armed forces and serving your country is the ultimate sacrifice, so the team at Hill and Ponton are proud to give back to our nation's veterans. We are now offering four $1,000 scholarships to help veterans further their education and enter a career field that would, in turn, help other veterans.

Our veterans' scholarship program provides financial assistance to former U.S. military personnel pursuing higher education. Former members of the U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, National Guard, and Coast Guard are eligible for this assistance program following honorable discharge. Through this scholarship fund, we hope that former military members can pursue education programs and reach their goals.
