Upon completion of the Wellness and Exercise Science major, students will be able to:

  • Apply skills and knowledge pertaining to the general functioning of the human body through fitness assessment as expected of a health, wellness, and fitness professional.
  • Design and develop fitness and wellness programs to show an appreciation for the role of multidimensional wellness in the balance of life.
  • Demonstrate knowledge on a variety of health and wellness topics among diverse populations across the lifespan.
  • Demonstrate leadership and service that incorporates the values and ethics of a health, wellness, and fitness professional.
  • Apply excellent moral character and professional ethics to the field of health, wellness, and sport.
