The Sport Marketing and Management program uses an interdisciplinary approach that includes foundation courses in sports and business to prepare students with marketing, media relations, event planning/management, public relations, technology, and business. Upon completion of the Sport Marketing and Management major, students will be able to: 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of business, communication, economics, and legal knowledge as they relate to the discipline of sport marketing and management.
  • Demonstrate leadership and service that incorporates the values and ethics of a health, wellness, and fitness professional.
  • Apply excellent moral character and professional ethics to the field of health, wellness, and sport.
