Accreditation

The University of Dubuque Engineering Program will pursue accreditation through the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET following the graduation of its first cohort.

Upon successful accreditation, ABET accreditation will be retroactive to include graduates from the program's first graduating class. While accreditation has not yet been granted, the curriculum, assessment processes, and student outcomes are being developed in alignment with ABET standards to ensure graduates are prepared for professional engineering practice.
