United States Marine Corps Officer Programs

The United States Marine Corps offers a guaranteed Pilot contract for qualified students who are selected to attend Officer Candidates School (OCS). Students who complete OCS are offered a commission as a Marine Officer upon college graduation and will be trained as a Marine Pilot. Students who possess strong character, leadership potential, mental aptitude, and physical fitness are encouraged to learn more. 

Basic Requirements:

  • First-Year, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Students, and recent College Graduates are eligible
  • US Citizenship required
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Minimum 22 ACT or 1,000 SAT (Math and Verbal combined)
  • Must pass the Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB)
  • Must pass a military medical exam and Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Uncorrected eyesight must be 20/40 or better, correctable to 20/20
  • Must pass a background check
  • Paid training takes place in Quanico, VA, during the summer for Freshman through Juniors
  • Paid training is after college graduation for Seniors

United States Navy Officer Programs

The United States Navy offers a guaranteed Pilot or Naval Flight Officer (NFO) contract for qualified students who are selected to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS). Students who complete OCS are offered a commission as a Naval Officer upon college graduation and will be trained as a Naval Aviator or Flight Officer. Students who possess strong character, leadership potential, mental aptitude, and physical fitness are encouraged to apply. 

Basic Requirements:

  • Seniors and recent College Graduates are eligible
  • US Citizenship required
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA - most majors acceptable
  • Must pass the Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB)
  • Must pass a military medical exam
  • Uncorrected eyesight must be 20/40 or better, correctable to 20/20 for Pilot
  • No limit on uncorrected eyesight but correctable to 20/20 for Naval Flight Officer
  • Must pass a background check
