The Spartans held a halftime lead of 38-37, but it was the Wartburg Knights who would out score the Spartans in the final 20 minutes to capture the final regular season game of the American Rivers Conference Season 71-61.

Spartan Wrestling Prepares for NCAA DIII Lower Midwest Regional

The University of Dubuque wrestling team will be competing in the 2019 Lower Midwest Regional on Feb. 23 and 24 at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Seventeen teams will be competing over two days for one of three qualifying spots in the 10 weight classes. The top-three place winners will advance to the 2019 National Championships on March 8-9.
