How did you get into hockey?
"I was fortunate to grow up in St. Albert, Alberta, a great hockey community. My dad was a hockey player, and I wanted to be like him. My parents took me skating and put me in lessons when I was young. I started playing hockey soon after I learned to skate, and I've been playing ever since. My family has supported me every step of the way which is a big reason I'm playing hockey at the college level."
What do you enjoy most about the position of goalie?
"As a goalie, I'm the last line of defense and a lot of pressure comes with the position, which is something that I thrive under and enjoy. It's a unique position and wearing the pads is a lot of fun. For whatever reason, I love standing in the net and stopping pucks. The feeling that comes from helping the team win games and making big saves is rewarding and it fuels me to be the best player I can be."

"Hosting this tournament is a great opportunity to showcase the University of Dubuque and NCAA hockey in Iowa. Our team has a lot to prove this year, and it starts with the Key City Collegiate Classic here in Dubuque. We're excited to take this step in building a championship-winning team. Additionally, the sponsors we have for this tournament highlight the tremendous support from the Dubuque community."
What has been the highlight of your hockey career at UD so far?
"One specific highlight of my career at UD so far was winning our first game in program history last season. Being able to spend time with the guys every day at the rink, in the gym, and at school makes playing college hockey at UD so great. It's been a privilege to be a part of the first hockey team at UD and to help develop a winning culture."
In your opinion, what makes the University of Dubuque unique?

UD supports its students in all aspects and creates a school environment that fosters success in both athletics and academics. My professors truly care about their students and provide the best education possible. My hockey coaches are committed to the game and consistently push our players to be the best they can be."
