DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Band Together Charity Concert featuring Cade Thompson, presented by the Boundless Trailer, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024, in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center, University of Dubuque.
Red Street Records artist Cade Thompson is an energetic and soulful contemporary Christian music artist with a sound that appeals to believers and mainstream pop audiences alike. His effortless style promotes his personal musical influences, which draw heavily from the church. Thompson has made waves across the Christian music community with the release of his debut single, "Provider," and, in August 2020, he earned his first Top 20 Billboard charting single with "Every Step of the Way." With his admirable ability to transform his thoughts and faith into a powerful collection of melodies and lyrics, Thompson has inspired a vast amount of people to step into all that God has for them.
Just as Thompson is passionate about inspiring and promoting individuals to step into their God-given purpose, the Boundless Trailer, a nonprofit organization, actively takes that drive and puts it into real action within communities across the United States. The Boundless Trailer is based out of East Dubuque, Illinois, but is unique in the aspect that it is a completely mobile organization. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Boundless Trailer's founder, Paige Johnston, took what she described as a useless, old, forgotten-about camper and turned it into a mobile resource center that is new, worthy, and appreciated by many people. The purple 1974 Yellowstone Camper is stocked to the brim with basic life necessities from clothing to hygiene products to assist individuals affected by poverty or natural disasters - all while cultivating a community of love and support to help individuals reach a level of self-sustainability. All of the services are provided at no cost to the recipients.
Funds raised through the concert's ticket sales will go toward supporting the mission and vision of the Boundless Trailer as the nonprofit prepares for another year of distribution trips.
"The night provides you and your loved ones the opportunity to 'band' together as one community, ready to boldly say yes to help fuel the mission and vision of the Boundless Trailer while bonding over true and authentic music. We can't wait to spend the evening encouraging and promoting real change alongside you," Johnston said.
