"FCA at UD" is a partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a national ministry organization with staff in the area. At the most basic level, FCA at UD nurtures fellowship in Christ among student-athletes on campus. This involves connecting Christian athletes together, having them commit to encourage each other in the faith, and then together, care for the rest of one's teammates in Christian love.

How is this fostered? Through FCA Bible studies or campus-wide huddles where all UD students are invited to come. There are also "team huddles" for certain sports, plus various teams will offer a devotional or a time of prayer when they are in-season, including some teams holding "game-day chapels." FCA Leadership

Tim Schneckloth is the Area Director for FCA, providing leadership and guidance over the whole Mississippi Valley Iowa area, and FCA is in the process of identifying and hiring staff in the role of Area Representative focused on Dubuque schools. On our campus, students are additionally served by a variety of servant-leaders. Britney Clark works in UD Athletics as the Coordinator of Creative Media, Marketing, and Fan Engagement, and she serves as the FCA "Field Ambassador", engaging and empowering coaches and student-athletes on campus. This includes working with "huddle coaches" - coaches willing to lead team huddles - and "character coaches" - volunteers willing to serve as team chaplains. Finally, students are served by fellow student-leaders.
