Digital Art and Design Curriculum
Curriculum Requirements
All bachelor's degrees require a minimum of 120 credit hours, inclusive of UD general education and major requirements as well as elective courses.
The Digital Art and Design major consists of 54 credit hours as follows:
Required Core Courses (36 credits):
- ART 111: Survey of Western Art I (3)
- ART 112: Survey of Western Art II (3)
- ART 221: Drawing Fundamentals (3)
- DART 130: Computer Graphics Introduction (3)
- DART 135: Design Studies (3)
- DART 201: Graphic Design I (3)
- DART 231: Web Design I (3)
- DART 240: Digital Illustration I (3)
- DART 241: 2D Animation (3)
- DART 250: Digital Imaging I (3)
- DART 270: 3D Animation I (3)
- DART 495: Senior Seminar (3)
Digital Art and Design Elective Courses (18 credits):
Any DART/ART courses not already required in the DART core courses.
Note: An internship or independent study course may replace one of the DART elective courses.
The Digital Art and Design minor consists of 24 credits as follows:
