1. As vice president of the UD College Republicans, why do you feel it’s important for college students to vote?

“I believe it is important to vote because it is a chance to make a change and make your voice heard. It is your constitutional right to vote. Being informed and being able to understand what is at stake is something that is crucial to our country.”

2. How did you get interested in politics?

“I got interested in politics back in high school. I wanted to create and build an understanding that I could relate and compare with what various candidates and parties align with and debate on.”

3. You have a full slate of classes with two majors and are active on campus as vice president of the UD College Republicans and a member of track and field. How are you able to balance everything?

“It is very challenging at times, and the amount of time that is devoted to each is unique and tedious. I have my priorities set and keep everything in front of me and not let them drag me down.”

4. What advice do you have for other Spartans?

“My advice for other Spartans is to get involved. Get out of your comfort zone and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. There are many great clubs, organizations, sports, and activities that you can really create lasting memories with.

5. Where is your favorite spot on campus? Why?

“My favorite spot on campus is the Quad. I see a familiar face every time I walk through. It also has a sense of comfort and an area where students are able to forget about the daily stresses.”
