Urban Conservationist to Speak at Fall Seminar Series

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Paul Miller, urban conservationist with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, will discuss urban conservation practices and how they function on the land at 5:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, in Room 105, University Science Center at the University of Dubuque.

The presentation is free and open to the public.

Miller leads the urban conservation program team that provides technical and educational assistance on stormwater management and urban conservation practices statewide. He previously worked as a soil conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service in five offices across the state. The service provides farmers, ranchers, and forest managers with free technical assistance or advice for their land.

The presentation is part of the Fall Seminar Series hosted by UD’s Department of Natural and Applied Sciences.
