Tickets on Sale Now for Heritage Center Full-Length Features

DUBUQUE, Iowa – University of Dubuque Heritage Center has partnered with several artists to offer full-length live musical performances in December at the push of a button.

Tickets are on sale now for digital access to Jim Brickman’s Comfort & Joy at Home at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, as well as I’ll Be Home for Christmas featuring Tonic Sol-fa and Shaun Johnson & the Big Band Experience at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. A portion of each ticket purchased will benefit Heritage Center.

Grammy-nominated songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman will present Comfort & Joy at Home, a unique virtual concert experience from the comfort of home. Brickman will bring the live concert experience up close and personal by blending yuletide memories and holiday carols with his own hit songs such as “The Gift,” “Sending You A Little Christmas,” “Angel Eyes,” and “If You Believe.” Brickman will warm the hearts of all as sweet sounds of faith and love make spirits bright, bringing families and friends together virtually for anything but a silent night.

Three ticket packages are available for Comfort & Joy at Home. A YouTube link to watch the concert is $40. A “Stocking Gift” containing a ticket, program, Comfort & Joy CD, T-shirt, autographed photo, and more plus a link to an interactive Zoom Room is $75. Shaun Johnson will host I’ll Be Home for Christmas, a never before seen virtual concert special filmed as much more than a livestream. The show will feature the Emmy-winning vocals of Tonic Sol-fa as well as the manic energy of a Top 5 Billboard artist with Shaun Johnson & the Big Band Experience. Viewers will experience a 60-minute virtual event that will include special guests, new songs from an unreleased, upcoming album, a live chat, and an interactive Q&A. Viewers will also have the opportunity to bundle tickets with tour tees or other hand-selected items to enhance the overall experience.

The performances are part of a new Heritage Center series called Full-Length Features. They are in addition to Live(stream) with Heritage Center, which includes interviews by Heritage Center staff with special guest artists and live music presentations.
