How It Happened

-UD had several clean looks from just outside the 18 but each attempt sailed high.
-With six and a half minutes left in the first half, UD had their best look of the half, coming from about 15 yards out but was blocked by a Norse defender.
-Luther tacked on their second goal of the half with a rocket of a ground ball from the right side of the box that went into the left side of the net.
-Luther added their third goal of the game less than a minute into the second half, when they sent a pass from the goal line to the top of the box for a one timer.
-The Spartans best opportunity of the game came in the 61st minute when Mueller lofted a shot from 25 yards out on the left side of the field. It was right on track for the upper-right corner of the net but was saved by Luther’s goalie’s full extension dive.
