Stevens Point, Wis. – The University of Dubuque women’s soccer team played the second of back-to-back games on Sunday, falling to UW-Stevens Points, 1-0.

How It Happened
- The second shot of the game from either team found the back of the net as UW-Stevens Point jumped out to the quick lead over UD with a goal in the fifth minute of play.
-UD would attempt six of the next seven shots in the opening half, however, all went wide or were saved by the UW-Stevens Point goalie to keep UD in a 1-0 hole after the opening 45 minutes.
-The offense’s kicked it into another gear in the second half, combining for 14 shots in the second half, with UD being outshot, 9-5.
-Of UD’s five second half shots, four went on goal, but none were lucky enough to find the back of the net as the Spartans would fall to UW-Stevens Point 1-0.
-The Spartans had four individuals with multiple shots taken on Sunday. Amanda Chlebek led the way with three and Natalie Diesntbach, Molly Schiltz and Brooke Brodzinski each attempted two.
