Spartans Men's Golf Ninth at Midwest Region Classic

GALENA, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team would move up to finish ninth on Saturday at the 2019 Midwest Region Classic held at Eagle Ridge North Course in Galena, Ill. Peyton Keefer would finish with the team's low score of the weekend with rounds of 77-78 (155) to tie for 38th place overall.
Competing as an individual, the Spartans Garvin Paper would shoot a 78-76 (154) to tie for 30th place overall. A very competitive field of 36 teams and 194 golfers would battle it out over two days on a course which allowed just one golfer to shoot even Par for the tournament.
