Spartans Earn Team, Individual Titles At Clarke Fall Invite

GALENA, Ill. – The University of Dubuque men’s golf team began their fall season with a bang, taking home the team title with a 299 and having the top three individual’s with Jordan Elliot posting the best score with a 73.
Jordan Elliot won medalist honors with his 73, but Garvin Paper and Connor Michels finished just one stroke behind Elliot with a 74 and to tie for second place. Jason Sikkema would also earn a top-10 finish, finishing ninth among the 88 golfers, posting a round of 78.
Levi Swanson rounded out the UD golfers on Wednesday afternoon, shooting an 81 to earn a tie for 24th place.
The Spartan men hit the course again on Friday and Saturday at the Carthage College Invite at the Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee, Illinois.
