Cross Country to Compete at NCAA Central Regional

WAVERLY, Iowa – The University of Dubuque cross country teams head to the 2019 NCAA Division III Central Regional Championships hosted by Wartburg, on Saturday to compete against 33 other teams in an effort to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships.

2-6 p.m. Max Championship Cross Country Course Inspection/Practice.
4:00 p.m. Packet pickup begins in the Wartburg Wellness Center Classrooms (Second floor) – and will continue until meeting begins.
5:00 p.m. Coaches Meeting – Wellness Center Classrooms – 2nd floor of W.
Saturday, Nov. 16
9:00 a.m. Max Championship Cross Country Course opens
9:40 a.m. Clerking procedure begins for men's race – tables behind the starting line
(Clerking time is 9:40-10:40 a.m.)
10:30 a.m. First gun fired (30 minutes to start of men's race)
10:35 a.m. National anthem
10:40 a.m. Second gun fired (20 minutes to start of men's race)
Men's competitors must report to assigned boxes
End clerking procedure for men
Clerking procedure begins for women's race – tables behind the starting line
(clerking time is 10:40-11:40 a.m.)
10:50 a.m. Third gun fired (10 minutes to start of men's race)
11:00 a.m. Men's 8,000-meter championship race
11:30 a.m. First gun fired (30 minutes to start of women's race)
11:40 a.m. Second gun fired (20 minutes to start of women's race)
Women's competitors must report to assigned boxes.
End women's clerking procedure
11:50 a.m. Third gun fired (10 minutes to start of women's race)
12:00 p.m. Women's 6,000-meter championship race
1:30 p.m. Awards ceremony – Awards Area behind the Starting line
Awards will be in the Wellness Center Fieldhouse if inclement weather
