Cross Country Finish 14th and 22nd at UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque cross country teams competed against some of the best teams in the Midwest on Friday afternoon at the 2019 Blugold Invitational held at the Whitetail Golf Course with 27 women's teams (6K) and 29 men's teams (8K) battling. The Spartans women's team placed 22nd with 608 points and were led by Stacy Kloft's 147th place finish in 25:22.7. On the men's side UD finished 14th with 399 points and Mark Biechler paced the Spartans with a 44th place finish in 26:01.1.
Less than a month away from the American Rivers Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Dubuque on Nov. 2 at the Dubuque Soccer Complex. The men's 8K race will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the women's 6K race at 12 p.m.
