Baseball Heading South for Spring Break Trip

DUBUQUE, Iowa – After two weeks off, the University of Dubuque baseball team will be back in action beginning on Sunday, March 8th, as they head to Florida to play six games in six days on their annual spring break road trip.
The Spartans will participate in the RussMat Invitational and all six games will be at two complexes, Chain of Lakes Park (Winter Haven, Fla.) and Lake Myrtle Park (Auburndale, Fla). The Spartans will face stiff competition in the sunshine state, squaring off with 12th ranked Rhodes, as well as UW-La Crosse and Concordia Chicago, who are both receiving votes in the latest D3baseball.com poll.
