BOX SCORE vs. Milwaukee School of Engineering

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's tennis team kicked off their outdoor season at home and finished with a split on Saturday, beating Aurora University 6-3 before losing to Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) 0-9. Temperature in mid 50's provided the background for a good day of tennis competition. The Spartans opened the day by taking two out of three doubles sets against Aurora. UD won #1 doubles 8-6 and captured #2 doubles 8-3 to grab an early 2-1 lead. In Singles play, UD would win #1,#2,#3, and #5 singles to earn the 6-3 victory.

In the second match MSOE played well and didn't lose a match en route to the dominating 9-0 win over the Spartans. Next weekend the Spartans travel to Augustana College for a dual meet beginning at 10 a.m. on March 30.
