Men's Golf Place 4th at Carke University Fall Classic

The University of Dubuque men's golf team opened with a round of 326 in the first round of the Clarke University Men’s Golf Fall Classic at the North Course, Eagle Ridge Resort, Galena, Ill. on Sept. 21 and were 2nd out of 14 teams. Saturday the Spartans shot a round of 328 at The General Course and dropped down to fourth with a combined score of 654.

After losing to Marian on Friday, the University of Dubuque volleyball team bounced back in a big way on Saturday with sweeps over Carroll (25-20, 25-23, 25-17) and Lawrence (25-16, 25-17, 25-17).
Women's Golf Win Luther Invitational by Seven Strokes

The University of Dubuque women's golf team won their first title in school history on Sunday by shooting a two day total of 655 in the Luther College Invitational. UD's Megan Gille won the tie break to claim medlaist honors after firing a score of 158.
Former Warden of Leavenworth Prison to Deliver Michael Lester Wendt Character Lecture

The Spartans Jordan Elliott led all linksters by shooting a one over Par 72 to hold the first day lead. Elliott shot a second round of 80 to tie for second overall with a score of 152. UD finished third after finishing the tourney with a second round of 307 for a two day total of 620, just 10 strokes out of first place.
