Women's Basketball Cap off Music City Classic with Victory

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Dubuque women's basketball capped off the Music City Classic with victory over Shenandoah by a score of 73-56.
UD was led by Morgan Boer's 15 points. Lexi Daniels and Abbey Meyer both finished with 12 points. Thirteen Spartans saw action as UD sank 24-71 shots from the field (33.8%), 11-29 from the three point arc (37.9%), and 14-19 at the free throw line (73.7%).
UD out rebounded Shenandoah 43-33. CeCe Pope led UD with nine rebounds. The Spartans scored 22 points off turnovers, 19 points off second chance points, and UD's bench added 20 points in the victory.
UD begins IIAC action at Loras on Jan. 3 at 6:00 p.m.
