DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's soccer team battled Macalester in a defensive battle on Friday night where they tied after two overtimes, 0-0.

How it Happened
-Macalester attempted five shots in the first half and they all came before Chris Rigby attempted UD's first one in the 24th minute.
-The Spartans would get two more shots before half but none of them went on goal. Two of Macalester's five shots in the first half went on goal.
-The second period was an even one with UD attempting seven shots and Macalester attempting two.
-In the 64th minute, Chris Rigby had a shot off of a free kick that hit the crossbar and looked like it would give UD a 1-0 lead but the refs ruled it did not cross the goalline
-Macalester attempted three shots in the second overtime and UD attempted two in the first overtime and one in the second with both of those in the second overtime coming on goal.
-In a very phsyical game, there were four cards handed out and all to UD players, three yellows and a red to Cameron Scott after his second yellow card of the night.
