KENOSHA, Wis. - The Spartan men's lacrosse team (7-8) had their hopes for a CCIW tournament bid dashed on Saturday afternoon after losing to Carthage College, 10-3. 

Carthage stormed out to a 4-0 lead in the opening 10 minutes before Michael Julius found the back of the net for UD with 2:31 left in the first quarter. Julius' goal was the lone Spartan goal until early in the fourth quarter when Davis Behrns scored his 11th of the season to make the score 9-2. Ben Gallagher picked up the Spartans third and final goal of the afternoon with 3:57 remaining in the contest. 

Kyle Mullins was solid in the net for the Spartans, playing all 60 minutes and recorded 21 saves, facing 45 shots. Mullins has now played 836:22 of the possible 900:00 minutes this season. Joe Furnstahl and Michael Jango both recorded an assist.

UD is back on the road to take on North Central College on Wednesday, April 25th at 7:00 p.m. in Naperville, Illinois.
