The 2017 Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Individual Flighted Singles (A,B,C) and Doubles (A,B) Tournament will take place Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14 at Byrnes Park Tennis Center in Waterloo, Iowa. Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. on both days.

University of Dubuque’s Heritage Center continues its fifth annual Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series with Sofi & the Baladis, a musical ensemble from Israel, on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in John and Alice Butler Hall. Part of Arts Midwest World Fest, this five-member ensemble, led by singer Sofi Tsedaka, features soulful and richly textured performances of an array of musical traditions that lie at the heart of Israel’s diverse and historic cultures.

The University of Dubuque football team was anxious to stop the two game skid, Saturday the Spartans pounded the ground game and out gained the host Prairiewolves 451-57. UD finished the afternoon with 651 total yards in the 42-27 road victory to even their IIAC mark at 2-2.

Saturday the women's and men's cross country teams compete at the 2017 IIAC Championships hosted by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Men's soccer (#5 seed) is on the road in the first round of the 2017 IIAC Men's Soccer Tournament hosted at #4 seed Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb. at 2:00 p.m. The Spartans (#4 seed) host the first round of the 2017 IIAC Women's Volleyball Tournament vs. #5 seed Coe College at 7:00 p.m. in Stoltz Sports Center. The women's soccer team earned the #2 seed and a first round bye in the 2017 IIAC Women's Soccer Tournament and will host #3 seed Central or #6 seed Luther tentatively scheduled f0r 7:00 p.m. at Oyen Field in Dubuque.

The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced their 2017 All-Academic team for the fall sports. The team included 460 student-athletes from the nine schools, including 46 from the University of Dubuque.
