Two University of Dubuque student-athletes earned Iowa Conference weekly honors for their play last week. Volleyball’s Kara Wright was named IIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week and Alexa Martin of women’s soccer was named IIAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
UD to Hold Athletic Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony

Five accomplished former University of Dubuque student-athletes and one team will be enshrined in the UD Athletic Hall of Fame during a private awards ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 7. The honorees will also be recognized during halftime of the football game against Buena Vista University.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) is pleased to announce that a record 7,351 softball players across seven membership divisions earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2016-17 academic year. University of Dubuque’s Heritage Center and the Dubuque County Library District have partnered to provide free interactive theater workshops inspired by the Family Series shows in the 2017-2018 Live at Heritage Center Performing Arts Series. Each child who attends one of the workshops will receive a free ticket, with the purchase of an adult ticket, to a Family Series performance.
