Broussard, a freshman, qualified 18th in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.73 at the Iowa Conference Championships and at the UW-L Last Chance Meet, his two most recent races. Broussard has finished 1st in the 100m Dash four times during the Outdoor Season including wins at the Wartburg Select, Univ. of Dubuque Open, Loras Open, and IIAC Championships. Broussard's time currently ranks sixth all-time at UD.

The 100m Dash Prelims are scheduled to start at 6:50 pm on Friday, May 24th. Broussard will run in Heat #3 - Lane #4. The Finals for the 100m Dash will be run on Saturday, May 25th at 4:10 pm. A total of 20 runners will be competing for the title of the Fastest Man in DIII. A heat victory or one of the next six fastest times would earn Boussard a place in the Finals and All-American status.

Watson, a sophomore, qualified 19th in the High Jump with a top height of 6’ 8.0” (2.03m) at the Univ. of Dubuque Open and matched his past weekend at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance Meet. Watson currently sits fourth all-time at UD in the High Jump and owns top jump since 2001.

The High Jump will start at 5:45 pm on Friday, May 25th. There will be 20 participants in the High Jump with the champion being crowned on Friday.
