#11 Seeded Spartans Prepare for National Duals

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Dubuque wrestling team is currently ranked #16 in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Division III Poll released on January 6. They will face stiff competition when they travel to the 2013 NWCA National Duals hosted at Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, Ill. Teams invited to compete in Division III include: Augsburg, Centenary, Coe, Cortland State, Dubuque, Elmhurst, Ithaca, John Hopkins, Johnson & Wales, Luther, Olivet, Springfield COllege, UW Lacrosse, UW Whitewater, Wartburg, and Wesleyen.
The University of Dubuque is the NCAA #11 seed at the National Duals and is scheduled to compete against NCAA # 6 seed U- La Crosse in the first round. If the Spartans win the first round match, they will face the winner of NCAA #3 seed SUNY-Cortland vs. NCAA # 14 seed Johnson and Wales University.
