Dec. 28 
In the opening game, the host University of Dubuque Spartans jumped out quickly and never lost the lead in the 80-53 victory over the Aurora University Spartans. UD dominated the inside scoring 32 points in the paint and 20 points off Aurora turnovers. 

UD finished with 14 Spartans entering the scoring column, but were led by Mollie Whiting's 18 points. She finished the evening sinking 8-16 shots from the field. Jennifer Fischer added 13 points and had three steals as teammate Kayla Springer finished with 10 points. Leading rebounder was Stephany Remarkel who collected 10 and she finished with five blocks as well. 

Aurora was led in scoring by Shay Jenkins who led all scorers with 20 points after shooting 50% from the field (9-18 attempts). Bethany Dorrington grabbed nine defensive rebounds to finish the night with 11 total. Aurora made 21-68 shot attempts in the game (30.9%) and were 4-16 from the three point area. 

In the second game of the evening, UW-River Falls was victorious over St. Mary's College (IN) 71-63. UW-River Falls' Brittany Gregory led all scorers with 23 points and 19 rebounds. Tess Lueders added 18 points and Richell Mehus had 12 points. 

St. Mary's was led in scoring by Krista Knapke who had 14 points and six rebounds. Eleni Shea and Katherine Wabler added 10 points each in the loss. UW-River Falls out rebounded St. Mary's 46-36, outscored them in the paint 38-26 and scored 25 points off the 20 turnovers committed by St. Mary's. 

UW-River Falls will face the host University of Dubuque Spartans in the championship game at 3:00 p.m. with St. Mary's facing Aurora in the consolation match-up at 1:00 p.m.
