Spartans Cruise to 80-65 Victory

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The University of Dubuque men's basketball team cruised to an 80-65 victory over North Central University on Tuesday night.
UD jumped out to an early lead and led at halftime 40-25. The two teams held court in the second half with each scoring 40 points. Chris Frazier led all scorers with 25 points in just 27 minutes of action. He was on fire from the outside sinking 5-6 three point attempts. Jordan Townsend added 16 points after sinking 7-10 attempts from the field.
The Spartans sank 31-52 attempts from the field (59.6%) and 6-13 of three point attempts.
UD will return to Stoltz Sports Center to open their home season on Saturday when Silver Lake College comes to town. Tip-off slated for 3:00 p.m. on Jon Davison Court.
