Men's Cross Country at IIAC Championships

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - The University of Dubuque Men's Cross Country team took part in the 2012 Iowa Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at Noelridge Park. The Spartans were led by freshman Jordan Murray (DeWitt, Iowa/Central DeWitt) with a time of 28:19.4 to place 41st overall. Dubuque finished in eighth place.
Payton Nevills (Savanna, Ill./West Carroll) and Javier Rodriguez (Waukegan, Ill./St. Joseph Academy) finished 47th and 48th respectively for UD as they ran with an all freshman lineup. All seven freshman finished in under 30 minutes.
