Schmidt Named to All-Tournament Team at Loras

DUBUQUE, IOWA – University of Dubuque sophomore Meggie Schmidt (Edgerton, Wis./Edgerton) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Loras College Invitational on October 19th and 20th. Schmidt led the Spartans to a tournament best 3-1 record including the first UD victory over Loras since 2007. UD is now 14-19 overall.
Schmidt finished the weekend with 161 assists, 59-digs, 12-kills, 4-serice aces, and 4-block assists. Schmidt’s 46 assists versus Loras matched a season high. She also posted assist totals of 45, 39, and 31.
