MADISON, Wis. - Tuesday night the Spartans traveled to Edgewood College to play in a triangular and lost the opener to UW-Oshkosh by a 0-3 score. UD lost 17-25, 13-25, 20-25 and were led in offense by Klaudia Basierak who finished the match with 13 kills. Meggie Schmidt ended the night with 18 assists and 14 digs. Nicole Toro had 14 digs as Basierak had 12 digs in the loss.
The second match of the night versus Edgewood would be suspended when a thunderstorm roared through the area knocking out the power around the Edgewood campus. Edgewood was leading the first set 20-16 and it will be continued on Sept. 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
