Spartans-Blue Takes Eighth Place at Culvers Edgewood Fall Classic

JANESVILLE, WISCONSIN - The University of Dubuque Men's Golf team kicked off the 2012 Fall Season with an eighth place finish at the Culvers Edgewood College Fall Classic. The UD-Blue team shot a 629 (+61) over two days to take eighth place out of 17 teams. UD-White finished 12th with a score of 661 (+93).
Mitch Sobotta (Arcadia, Wis./Arcadia) was the top Spartan finisher in 15th place at 152, +10 over par. Sobotta shot a 74 on Day 2, the lowest sinlge round score of the tournament for UD. Eric Wolfe (Cuba City, Wis./Cuba City Community) tied for 31st place at +15 over par, 157.
The leading scorer for UD-White was Josh Schuberg (Elburn, Ill./Kaneland) at 162, (+20) in a tie for 50th place.
