Inclement Weather Update, March 15, 2021

Dear University of Dubuque Community,
Due to the forecasted snowfall for today, Monday, March 15, classes on the University of Dubuque’s main campus may be impacted. At this time, classes will run as scheduled but students should continue to check Moodle and email for further information should the format of their classes change.
Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Babka Aviation Learning Center will be closing at 12:00 (noon) today, Monday, March 15, 2021. We will resume operations at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning with the regular shuttle service running as scheduled.
All classes scheduled this afternoon at BFC are NOT canceled and will be held remotely (Zoom or Teams) at their regular time. There will be no in-person classes at BFC. Students must check Moodle and email for further instructions on the format of their classes.
There will be no aviation shuttle service after 11:45.
All flight training and simulator training will be suspended after 12:00.
Ground briefings may be conducted at the BFC or remotely. For further instructions, please contact your Flight Instructor.
Please use your best judgment when traveling, be safe, and stay warm.
At this time, main campus undergraduate and graduate evening classes as well as LIFE - Dubuque and LIFE - Cedar Rapids evening classes will operate as usual, but students should continue to check Moodle and email for additional information should the status of classes change.
Essential personnel will provide food service and other amenities to on-campus residents to keep our campus safe. We appreciate their commitment to service.
The work schedule for remaining employees may be impacted as the day progresses. Supervisors have the flexibility to have staff work remotely should conditions deteriorate. The health and safety of the campus is of the utmost importance.
