BOX SCORE vs. Northland College

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's team enjoyed a Thanksgiving Weekend victory over the Northland College Lumberjills on Saturday night by a 80-48 score. UD finished with four individuals in double figures to capture their first win of the 2017-18 season.

UD launched 35 three point shots in the foul fest which saw 47 combined fouls in the game (25 for UD and 21 for Northland). The Spartans sank 16-21 free throw attempts (76.2%). The Lumberjills went to the free throw line 32 times and sank 21 (65.6%). UD scored 25 points off Northland's 29 turnovers.

The Spartans bench would score over half the team's points an ended with 43 points, led by Josephine Thomas's 17 points. She led the Spartans with five from beyond the three point arc. Abbey Meyer added 14 points, Allison Roach 12 points, and Morgan Boer with 10 points. T'Nauzhae Robinson led the reboundinng with eight boards.

The Spartans host their Iowa Conference opener vs. the Wartburg College Knights on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6:00 p.m.
