Aviation Scholarships:

RAA Scholarship Foundation - Aviation

The Board of Directors of the Regional Airline Association, the industry trade association representing North American regional airlines, on May 7 ratified the establishment of the RAA Scholarship Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to support RAA's scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in aviation.
RAA awards $16,000-$20,000 in scholarships annually to students in collegiate aviation programs. In 2018, RAA awarded four, $4,000 scholarships.

IHERF Healthcare Career Scholarship

The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is proud to support the Health Care Careers Scholarship program. Available through the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, these scholarships of up to $7,000 ($3,500 per year for a maximum of two years) each have supported higher education for more than 450 Iowa college students. In 2018, we expanded our scholarship awards to 50 recipients and we will continue to award 50 scholarship awards. IHERF has supported higher education for more than 450 Iowa college students.

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and QGenda are pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program to support the preparation of new nurses and those seeking to advance their education. Open to nursing students pursuing baccalaureate and higher degrees at AACN member institutions, this program will award nearly $50,000 in scholarships through 2025, which will be administered by AACN's Foundation for Academic Nursing.

Adora S. Jones Ministerial Scholarship

This scholarship is for one year only; however, current recipients may reapply and be considered for additional funding along with other new applicants. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full time, be a resident of or have previously resided in the state of Iowa, be preparing for the ministry within one of the following affiliations: Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, or Congregational Churches.

Both scholarships are awarded in the Spring and Fall semesters in the amount of $1,000.

Applications for the Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd Scholarship for Veterans and Their Families are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by December 31st for the following Spring Semester.

Applications for the TonaLaw Veteran's Scholarship are due by July 31st of each year for the following Fall Semester and by November 30th for the following Spring Semester.

Joining the armed forces and serving your country is the ultimate sacrifice, so the team at Hill and Ponton are proud to give back to our nation's veterans. We are now offering four $1,000 scholarships to help veterans further their education and enter a career field that would, in turn, help other veterans.

Our veterans' scholarship program provides financial assistance to former U.S. military personnel pursuing higher education.
