Master in Management - Organizational Diversity & Inclusion Leadership
Master in Management - Organizational Diversity & Inclusion Leadership is a 30 credit hour program offered in both online and face-to-face 8-week-per-course formats
Home of tomorrow's leaders
Studies have shown that increasingly diverse work teams think differently about problems, which lead to more effective and feasible solutions than homogeneous teams. Organizations that value differences (15% more effective) and a broad employee demographic, (whether related to race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, ability, military status, religion, generation, sexual orientation and/or political views – 35% more effective) are more likely to outperform those that don't, and research indicates that organizations with greater diversity amongst its workforce bring in higher sales revenue, customers and profits.
The Master in Management - Organizational Diversity & Inclusion Leadership (MMDI) specialization is designed from an organizational perspective to identify, recognize and remove barriers that impeded productivity for the 21st-century workforce and help capitalize on the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and worldviews that shape the climate and direction of organizations. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to become change agents within their current organizations and/or pursue careers as diversity recruiters, coordinators, managers, and Chief Diversity Officers; as well as careers in higher education and consulting. To qualify for the Master in Management - Organizational Diversity & Inclusion specialization, the student must have earned a bachelor’s degree and are required to have a 2.75 or higher undergraduate cumulative GPA.
