Summer School

Summer School Mission Statement 

The University of Dubuque Summer School Program upholds the overall Mission of the University of Dubuque in that courses offered fulfill the liberal arts core as well as requirements in major fields of study.  Summer courses are open to students of all ages who desire to catch-up, get-ahead, or expand their horizons in the pursuit of college-level learning opportunities. 

2019 Summer School sessions will run in the following two sessions:

Session One

Face-to-face: Tuesday, May 28 – Friday, June 21, 2019 (four weeks)

Online courses with a section number 60 or 61: Tuesday, May 28 – Friday, July 19, 2019 (eight weeks)

Online courses with a section number 62: Monday, June 10 – Friday, August 2, 2019 (eight weeks)

Session Two

Face-to-face: Monday, June 24 – Friday, July 19, 2019; no classes on July 4th (four weeks)

Online: No online classes will be starting in session two; they will only begin in session one


Classes normally meet for four weeks; some, however, may run for more than four weeks.

All online classes will meet for eight weeks and will begin in session one.
